Positions Along California's Central Coast

You are invited to join one of California's top-ranked non-profit hospital systems based in a safe, quaint town along the Central Coast of California. In this position, you will serve as a diabetes expert, consulting with patients throughout the hospital with potential to expand into a hybrid inpatient/outpatient role.

Details Include:

  • Work in an inpatient role in a 258-bed hospital with a team of Nurse Practitioners and Diabetes Educators 

  • Consult patients throughout the hospital in glycemic management and diabetes education

  • Sees 8-12 patients per day, on average

  • Work alongside hospitalist, RN Diabetes Educator, registered dietician, Discharge Planners, Social Workers, and patient's outpatient support system to ensure a safe transition out of the hospital

  • Insulin drips are managed by pharmacy; assist patients when transitioning off insulin drips
