About the Role

New Urgent Care Initiative in the DFW (Dallas/Fort Worth) Metroplex


You are invited to fill a role in a brand new, exciting, ultramodern urgent care initiative opening several dozen locations throughout the DFW Metroplex! Our stunning, specialty-specific urgent care clinics are designed to furnish the utmost in patient comfort along with the best provider efficiency. Details Include:

  • Ultramodern clinics with coffeehouse-style amenities

  • Five exam rooms plus a minor procedures suite

  • X-ray and laboratory on site

  • Staffing includes independent Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Concierge/LVNs, Rad Techs

  • Off-site support for radiology, including reading/interpreting x-rays in an average of 12 minutes

  • EPIC Electronic Medical Records system


You'll provide full-spectrum urgent care with a comprehensive scope:

  • Common illnesses, minor injuries, cold and flu, physicals, etc.

  • Patients: All ages, pediatrics as young as 6 months, through geriatrics

  • Perform minor procedures like suturing, wound care, injections, etc.

  • Patient referrals to outside providers as needed


Work Schedule:

  • Full time requires just 13 shifts per month

  • Full time shifts are 12-hours in length

Qualifications:

  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Training/Certification

  • Prior urgent care experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with minor procedures including suturing/wound repair

  • Minimum one year of clinical practice experience in family practice, urgent care, or related field; two years preferred

  • DOT Certification required upon hire

  • Ability to obtain licensure in the State of Texas
